Back to Bach
An evening of dances to the music of Johann Sebastian Bach as interpreted by 20th century
performers who have departed from the original score or who have been
inspired by the great baroque composer: Gabriela Montero, The Swingle Singers, Uri Caine and Hector Villa lobos.
The choreography alternates from the whimsical to the poignant.
Premiered March 28, 2008 in Erie.
Fallen Trees
A one hour evening of dance dealing with our past, ourselves, and the times
we live in. Music by Jan Garbarek, Djivan Gasparyan, Rabih
Abou-Khalil, Manuel de Falla, Arvo Part, Alfred Schnittke, Johann Sebastian
Bach and featuring original music by Jared Hinkle and David Eggar.

Unsilenced Voices
Using dance,
live chamber music and the spoken word, "Unsilenced Voices," choreographed by Dafna and Jean-Marc Baier is a sweeping journey of the spirit, from the devastation of war to an inner world, a place of shared pain, a search for beauty and meaning. The Four Seasons A delightful production about the different stages in a person's life. From the whimsical and outrageous to the sensitive and
dramatic. Music by Beethoven, Acoustic Alchemy, Piazzola, Vivaldi. A 60-minute production with six dancers.

Bolero A quirky exploration into seemingly mundane domestic relationships. Four dancers.

Ravel String
Quartet Performed with the Cypress String Quartet to the first movement of Ravel's masterpiece; commissioned and premiered in 2000 at the Whitaker Center for the Arts, Harrisburg, PA. It is a celebratory piece about friendship and longing. Five dancers.
Martinu's Sinfonietta La Jolla
& Brahms' Tragic Overture
The 1998 collaboration with Maestro Peter Bay conducting the Erie Philharmonic Orchestra. This 35 minute pairing of two diverse works is a fine example of Dafmark's diverse nature. Martinu's lively composition accompanies contemporary pointe work and follows the intensity of Johannes Brahms.
