Jean-Marc Baier
A native of Paris, France, Jean-Marc holds a BFA from the North Carolina School of the Arts and an MFA from Southern Methodist University.

He was director of Mercyhurst College Dance Department from 1984 through 1990,   when he restaged full length ballets such as "Juliet and Romeo", "Don Quixote", "Firebird", "Sleeping Beauty",  "Coppelia" and choreographed numerous original productions. Mr. Baier has taught as well as performed in Europe and Israel.   From January 1998 thru June 2001, he also worked as radio host of the classical music program Intermezzo for WQLN-FM.    He is presently Executive Director of Dafmark Dance Theater and a full time faculty at Cathedral Preparatory School where he teaches French and English Literature.

Dafna Rathouse-Baier
Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Dafna has worked as Rehearsal Director and Ballet Mistress for Bat-Dor Dance Company and the Kibbutz Dance Company in Israel, the Repertory Dance Company of the Southwest and the Dallas Opera in Texas.

In addition to guest-teaching in Europe and in the United States, Dafna has choreographed for the Dallas Opera, Voci in Orlando, Atalanta Fugiens & the Espantall Dance Company in Spain and the Kibbutz Dance Company in Israel. From 1984 through 1990, Dafna taught, rehearsed and choreographed for the Mercyhurst College Dance Department. She is currently Choreographer, Ballet Mistress and Artistic Director of Dafmark Dance Theater & Academy.
